Pitlands Farm is a haven for wild birds. Buzzards, Red Kites, nesting Swallows, Woodpeckers, Heron's and the occasional Kingfisher are often seen around the farm. This week however, a Cattle Egret was spotted on our lower fishing pool. Cattle Egrets are native to Africa and Southern Spain and rarely seen in the UK.
