Summer Holidays

There seems to be so much to do round and about - Burwarton Show today a lovely one day show in the heart of the country - what a difference to last year, it had to be cancelled because of the rain and floods, this year they say we should get a high of 30 degrees. Saturday 3rd August is Tenbury Agricultural Show, another local even well worth a visit.  Starting on Monday 5th August, Worcester Cathedral are doing "Discover Something Different at Worcester Cathedral", tours, talks, workshops and courses - as diverse as stonemasonry courses to bee-keeping, talkes on medieval medicine to Oliver Cromwell.  Details on Worcester Cathedral website.  Check out Visit Worcestershire website for a list of activities, attractions and events in the area.

Closer to home everything is starting to look green and fresh instead of brown and parched, so the sheep are much happier.   Heather is just taking the grandchildren up to the cherry trees in the hope of picking a few last cherries for one of our guests, if the birds haven`t got there first.  The hot tub and treatment room have been popular for the last couple of weeks - I suppose it makes a difference having couples and families staying rather than fishermen - they aren`t so keen on beauty treatments.

Busy few weeks ahead!
