End of autumn?

Nearly into December and we have had to mow all the grass again, surely that must be for the last time this year. Also picked some raspberries. With the bumper crop of apples this year, have tried making some apple juice - really delicious, just have got to find an easy way of preserving it as you can only drink so much at one time. If I can manage to do that, it will make a welcome addition to the B&B breakfasts at Pitlands Farm. Try our hand at cider perhaps. Next week will probably start decorating the lodges ready for the Christmas guests, although it will be too soon to put up the outside lights as there are far too many leaves on the trees, it still looks too much like autumn. It is the Victorian Fayre at Worcester this weekend and the weather forecast looks good, which will hopefully bring in lots of visitors. Bromyard switched on their Christmas lights, and for a small town they are pretty spectacular - check out their website.
