There seems to have been so much happening both at Pitlands Farm and locally. We have got a real diversity of guests - competitors in Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb, fishermen, a lady doing a silversmithing course locally, the Clifton scouts doing a charity walk - The Worcestershire Way, setting off from Malvern this morning camping here overnight having a BBQ, heading off in the morning after bacon sandwiches to finish at Bewdley. Each time they have camped it seems to have poured with rain - not this weekend, clear blue skies and blistering heat. Bromyard is staging its annual Gala, it was cancelled last year because of the weather, but it could be the last one after running for 30 years, as they are looking for a new venue. Worcester Cricket Club have been hosting the Austrialians - good cricket; good weather and good crowds. Racing at Worcester - there has been so much to see and do. The new "girls" are now well into laying eggs enjoying basking out in the sunshine. After such a long cold Spring, the blossom, flowers and colours everywhere are really spectacular - there is always an up side.
